On their appointment, they shall be govened under ClSF Act and Rules as well as Central Civil Services Rules applicabie to other members of the Force from time to time.
They shali be entitled for the pensionary benefits as per the "Defined Contributory Pension system known as the National Pension System" applicabie to all employees joining service of Central Government on or after 1January 2004.
The recruitment process will consist of Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standards Test (PST), Document Verification (DV), Written Examination under OMR/Computer Based Test (CBT) Mode and Medical Examination.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physicai Standard Test (PST), Document Verification (DV), Written Examination (OMRICBT), Detailed Medical Examination (DME)/Review Medical Examination (RME) will be scheduled and conducted.
Written Examination under OMR/Computer Based Test (CBT) Mode will be conducted only in English and Hindi languages.
Verification of required eligibility criteria will be carried out at the time of Document verification through original certificates/Documents.
The candidates who qualify in the PETIPST/DV and written examination (OMRICBT) will be shortlisted State/Area-wise and Category-wise on the basis of their performance in the written examination (OMR/CBT) for appearing in the Detailed Medical Examination (DME).
The number of candidates shortlisted for DME will be about 02 (Two) times of the number of vacancies notified. After completion of PET/PST/DV, Written Examination (OMRICBT) and Medical Examination, State and category wise Merit Lists will be drawn separately in respect of each States/UTs based on the performance of candidates in Written Examination (OMRIGBT) and allotted vacancies to each State/UTs.
Vacancies will be filled as per the vacancies available in various States/UTS. in addition, vacancies are earmarked for the militancy/naxal affected districts are reserved for the candidates of these districts only.
